Umoja: The Village Where Men Are Forbidden

French documentary movie about Kenyan village called Umoja. Hundreds of Samburu women say that they have been raped by British soldiers in northern Kenya between 1970 and 2003. Believed to have brought shame on their community they have been beaten and divorced by their husbands. A group of them created Umoja, a refuge for these women, and a place where no men are allowed.
